To play cornhole, you can follow these rules:
Teams: Play with one or two players per team.
Setup: Place the boards 27 feet apart, facing each other.
Coin toss: Determine which team goes first with a coin toss or rock, paper, scissors.Throwing: Players take turns throwing bags underhand from the pitcher's box, which is a three-foot-wide space next to the board. Players must stay within the box and cannot step past the foul line at the front of the box.Scoring: Players earn points for bags that land on the board or in the hole:In the hole: 3 pointsOn the board: 1 pointHanging into the hole: 1 pointHanging off the edge: 1 pointTaking turns: Players alternate turns until all eight bags have been thrown.Winning: The first team to 21 points wins.Fouls: A bag is considered a foul if it:- Is pitched after crossing the foul line
- Is pitched after stepping outside the pitcher's box
- Is not thrown within 20 seconds
- Is thrown from the wrong pitcher's box
- Hits the ground or court before landing on the board
- Hits another object, like a tree limb or ceiling
- Is removed from the board before scoring is agreed upon
